Jane has been painting all her life.

Following an early career in the illustration of natural history, Jane's interests have turned to the still moments between events.

​

Works, often in oil on canvas or board, are jewel-like in quality, capturing light and colour with equal intensity. Sources of inspiration are broad, spanning 20th-century art, film and architecture, as well as the urban and semi-urban environment.

 

Jane is based in the city of Salisbury in Wiltshire and enjoys qualifications from both Salisbury Art College and the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design.
